Success for Aus war movie

Aussie flick Tomorrow When the War Began is now officially the highest grossing Australian film of the year having taken more than $7.7 million in just two weeks at the Australian box office.

It seems the film has also been a hit online with the film’s official Facebook page having reached over 50,000 fans.

Mike Selwyn, Paramount Pictures Australia managing director and vice president Australia/New Zealand, says: "We are looking forward to a successful school holiday period and hope that the film will move on to a much bigger box office and will help pave the way for the sequels that we would all love to see.”
